To add to the urgency of addressing this issue, the railings at the top of the photo taken at this location were previously involved in a car crash incident about seven and a half years ago. 

The Incident: A driver sped down Kingsway, losing control and crashing into the railings, which have since been repaired. An eyewitness account described a man, possibly of Asian descent, fleeing the scene on foot, highlighting the unpredictable nature of driving in this area.

A Broader Context: The Bus Stop Incident

Further compounding the issues at this bus stop, it was also the site of an incident involving a bus driver attacking a pedestrian. This history of violence and accidents at the same location calls for immediate reassessment of safety measures.
